Armored Core 3 Portable is a port of
Armored Core 3 on PS2. This game takes you into Layered, an underground
city, as a Raven, a gun-for-hire Armored Core pilot. In this game, you
fight the petty squabbles of 3 organisations, rebel armies and learn the
tyranny of the AI, The Controller, that makes all the political and
business decisions of the human race. This game of course contains Arena
mode, in which you cannot progress from one rank to the next without
some level of story completion. I assume this is to maintain balance, so
you aren't overequipped too early on in-game
